ټام د غاښ درد لري. د دا غاښ ډیر زیات درد کوي.

Tom has a toothache. His tooth hurts very much.

Tom a mal à la dent. Sa dent lui fait très mal.


A man holding his hand to the side of his face and thinking about medicine.

دي باید د غاښونو د ډاکټر سره وویني، مګر ړومبی دې د درد د پاره دا څه شي ضرورت لري.

He needs to see his dentist, but first he needs something for the pain.

Il a besoin de voir son dentiste, mais d’abord, il lui faut quelque chose pour la douleur.


A man driving to a pharmacy.

دي نږدي دواخانې ته ځي.

He drives to the nearest pharmacy.

Il va à la pharmacie la plus proche.


A man talking to a pharmacist.

“زما پر غاښ درد دي، “دي وایی.” د دي لپاره تاسو سره څه شته؟”

“I have a toothache,” he says. “Do you have anything for that?”

“J’ai mal à la dent,” dit-il. “Avez-vous quelque chose pour cela ?”


A pharmacist offering painkillers.

“هو، دغه یو څه د درد ګولۍ دي. تاسو د دي لپاره نسخه ته ضرورت نلري.”

“Yes, here are some painkillers. You don’t need a prescription for these.”

“Oui, voici des anti-douleurs. Vous n’avez pas besoin d’ordonnance pour ceux-ci.”


A man asking for the price to a pharmacist who is handing him painkillers.

“مننه. د دوي قیمت څو دې؟”

“Thank you. How much do they cost?”

“Merci. Combien coûtent-ils ?”


A pharmacist saying the price and recommending seeing a dentist.

“د دوي قیمت نهه ایرو دي. مګر تاسو باید د غاښونو د ډاکټر سره هم وویني.”

“They cost nine euros. But you should see a dentist.”

“Ils coûtent neuf euros. Mais vous devriez voir un dentiste.”


A man thinking about phoning.

“سمه ده، زه به خپل د غاښو ډاکټر ته سبا سهار ذنګ ووهم.”

“Okay, I will call my dentist tomorrow morning.”

“D’accord, j’appellerai mon dentiste demain matin.”


A pharmacist recommending a dentist.

“که تاسو تر دي قوي دوا غواړي، تاسو د هغه لپاره باید د خپل غاښونو ډاکټر یا ډاکټر څخه نسخه واخلي.”

“If you need stronger medicine, you will need to get a prescription from your dentist or doctor.”

“Si vous avez besoin d’un médicament plus fort, vous aurez besoin d’une ordonnance de votre dentiste ou médecin.”

“Thank you! Goodbye.”

“Merci ! Au revoir.”
