She goes for the job interview. The restaurant manager tells her they need someone who has trained as a chef.

Baadaye, Alisha anaenda kwenye usaili katika mgahawa, na anapata kazi. Hii ni kazi ngumu, mara nyingi anafanya kazi jioni wakati watoto wake wakiwa wamesharudi kutoka shuleni.

Next time Alisha goes for a job interview at a restaurant, she is offered the job. It is hard work. She often has to work in the evening, when her children are home from school.

La prochaine fois qu’Alisha va à un entretien dans un restaurant, elle décroche le travail. C’est un dur travail. Elle doit souvent travailler le soir, quand ses enfants sont rentrés de l’école.

Anajivunia kwamba ameshapata kazi, kwani anaweza kununua chakula na mavazi ya familia yake kwa pesa yake mwenyewe.

She is proud that she has got a job so that she can buy food and clothes for her family with her own money.

Elle est fière d’avoir un travail qui lui permette d’acheter de la nourriture et des vêtements pour sa famille avec son propre argent.
