مای بۆ فیلمێک دەگەڕێت سەیری بکات. ده‌یه‌وێت بچێته‌ سینه‌ما له‌گه‌ڵ باشترین هاوڕێی، که‌ لیسایه‌.

Mai searches for a film to watch. She wants to go to the cinema with her best friend, Lisa.

Mai cherche un film à regarder. Elle veut aller au cinéma avec sa meilleure amie, Lisa.

مای ماتۆڕه‌ بچووکه‌که‌ی ده‌بات بۆ سینه‌ما. ئه‌وان ڕێککه‌وتوون که‌ له‌وێ یه‌کتر ببینن.

Mai takes her scooter to the cinema. They have agreed to meet there.

Mai va jusqu’au cinéma en scooter. Elles se sont mises d’accord pour se rencontrer là-bas.

At the cinema they say hello. They are excited to see the film.

Elles cherchent leurs places. Il fait sombre parce que le film a déjà commencé.

It is a romantic film. That is their favourite kind.

C’est un film romantique. C’est leur genre favori.

دوای فیلمه‌که‌ خوداحافیزی لە یەکتر دەکەن و ده‌ڕۆنەوە بۆ ماڵه‌وه‌.

After the film they say goodbye and go home.

Après le film, elles se disent au revoir et rentrent chez elles.
