A camisa do Ali está velha. Precisa de comprar uma nova.

Ali’s shirt is old. He needs a new one.


A man walking to a shopping mall.

Vai ao centro comercial à procura de roupas novas.

He goes to the shopping mall to look for new clothes.


A man in a shopping mall looking confused.

No centro comercial não consegue encontrar a loja de roupa.

In the shopping mall he cannot find the clothing store.


A man speaking to a shop assistant.

Entra numa loja para pedir orientações. “Onde posso comprar roupas?” pergunta.

He goes into a shop to ask for directions. “Where can I buy clothes?” he asks.


Someone pointing to a nearby shop.

A empregada da loja aponta para o outro lado do centro comercial. A loja de roupa é no lado oposto!

The shopkeeper points to the other side of the mall. The clothing store is on the opposite side!

O Ali procura uma camisa. As camisas são grandes demais para ele e muito caras.

Ali goes in and looks for a shirt. The shirts are too big for him, and quite expensive.


A man buying a pair of trousers.

Em vez da camisa, ele compra um novo par de calças porque estão em saldos. Decide que irá comprar a camisa no próximo mês, quando receber o seu salário.

He buys a new pair of trousers instead because they are on sale. He decides he will buy a shirt next month when he gets his salary.
