“Do you have any family?”
“हाँ, मेरे पति, मेरी दो बेटियाँ और एक बेटा है।”
“Yes, my husband and I have two daughters and a son.”
“मेरी भी दो बेटियाँ हैं, लेकिन मैं तलाकशुदा हूँ।”
“I also have two daughters, but I’m divorced.”
“आपकी बेटियों की उम्र क्या है?”
“How old are your daughters?”
“मीना चार साल की है। वह प्रीस्कूल जाती है। मरियम दस साल की है, इसलिए वह स्कूल जाती है।”
“Mina is four years old. She goes to preschool. Miriam is ten, so she goes to school.”
“मेरे सभी बच्चे स्कूल में हैं। मेरा बेटा अगले साल ग्रेजुएट होगा।”
“All of my children are in school. My son will graduate next year.”
“बढ़िया! बच्चे बड़ी तेज़ी से बड़े होते हैं। वह इसके बाद क्या करना चाहता है?”
“That is great! They grow up so fast. What does he want to do afterwards?”
“वह नौकरी पाना चाहता है, लेकिन मैं उससे कहती हूँ कि उसे इसके बजाय यूनिवर्सिटी जाना चाहिए।”
“He wants to get a job, but I tell him he should go to university instead.”
“यह एक अच्छा विचार है। मुझे भी उम्मीद है कि मेरे बच्चे किसी दिन यूनिवर्सिटी जाएँगे।”
“That’s a good idea. I also hope my children will go to university someday.”
