አሊሻ ሥራ መፈለግ አለባት ምክንያቱም ቤተሰቧ ለምግብ እና ለልብስ ገንዘብ ያስፈልጋቸዋል።

Alisha needs to find a job because her family needs money for food and clothes.

Alisha a besoin de trouver du travail parce que sa famille a besoin d’argent pour de la nourriture et des vêtements.

Alisha did not work in her home country, but she is good at cooking and likes talking to people.

Alisha ne travaillait pas dans son pays d’origine, mais elle est douée en cuisine et aime parler aux gens.

She finds an advert for a chef. That is someone who cooks in a restaurant.

ለስራ ቃለ መጠይቁ ትሄዳለች። የምግብ ቤቱ አስተዳዳሪ እንደ ሼፍ የሰለጠነ ሰው እንደሚፈልጉ ነገሯት።

She goes for the job interview. The restaurant manager tells her they need someone who has trained as a chef.

አሊሻ ተስፋ ቆርጣለች ነገር ግን “ምግብ እና መስተንግዶ” የሚባል ኮርስ ወሰደች። ይህ በአንድ ሬስቶራንት ውስጥ ሥራ እንድታገኝ ይረዳኛል የሚል ተስፋ ኣላት።

Alisha is disappointed, but she takes a course called “Food and hospitality”. She hopes this will help her to get a job in a restaurant.

Alisha est déçue, mais elle suit une formation nommée “Cuisine et hospitalité”. Elle espère que cela va l’aider à trouver du travail dans un restaurant.

Alisha has to work in a restaurant as part of her training course. She does not get paid, but she gets work experience.

የትምህርቱን ዝርዝሮች በሲቪዋ ላይ ጨምራለች። ሲቪ የሰራቻቸው ስራዎች እና የወሰደቻቸው ኮርሶች ሁሉ መግለጫ ነው።

She adds the details of the course to her CV. A CV is a description of all the work she has done and all the courses she has taken.

Elle ajoute les détails de la formation à son CV. Un CV est une description de tous les emplois qu’elle a eu et de toutes les formations qu’elle a faites.

በሚቀጥለው ጊዜ አሊሻ በአንድ ሬስቶራንት ውስጥ ለስራ ቃለ መጠይቅ ስትሄድ ስራው ይሰጣታል። ከባድ ስራ ነው። ብዙውን ጊዜ ምሽት ላይ ልጆቿ ከትምህርት ቤት ሲመለሱ መሥራት አለባት።

Next time Alisha goes for a job interview at a restaurant, she is offered the job. It is hard work. She often has to work in the evening, when her children are home from school.

La prochaine fois qu’Alisha va à un entretien dans un restaurant, elle décroche le travail. C’est un dur travail. Elle doit souvent travailler le soir, quand ses enfants sont rentrés de l’école.

በራሷ ገንዘብ ለቤተሰቧ ምግብና ልብስ መግዛት የሚያስችል ሥራ በማግኘቷ ኩራት ይሰማታል።

She is proud that she has got a job so that she can buy food and clothes for her family with her own money.

Elle est fière d’avoir un travail qui lui permette d’acheter de la nourriture et des vêtements pour sa famille avec son propre argent.
